10–14 Week Cricket Development Program

This comprehensive program is designed to enhance technical proficiency, physical readiness, and tactical awareness through specialized modules in batting, fielding, bowling, and S&C.

Batting: Technical Mastery & Tactical Clarity

  • Batting vs. Spin: Developing the sweep shot, mastering footwork to reach the pitch of the ball, and utilizing the depth of the crease to play effectively off the back foot.

  • Facing the Short Ball: Optimizing foot positioning and refining the bat path for the pull, hook, and evasive maneuvers.

  • Facing the Swinging Ball: Learning to "play late" to allow the ball to move, while adjusting guard angles and setup to counter lateral movement.

  • Power Hitting: Establishing a stable base and increasing hand speed to maximize boundary-clearing potential.

  • Strike Rotation: Developing clarity in scoring areas and identifying "gap-finding" techniques to transform personal strengths into consistent run-scoring.

Fielding: Reactive & Technical Skills

  • Flat Catching: Reaching the fundamental mechanics required to secure high-velocity catches safely and consistently.

  • Throwing Mechanics: Perfecting the "base" and body positioning at the point of release to maximize power and accuracy.

  • The Pick-Up: Mastering the transition from the ground to the hand to ensure a rapid, seamless release.

  • Game Scenarios: Applying technical skills under pressure through match-realistic drills and decision-making exercises.

Strength & Conditioning (S&C): Peak Performance

  • Pre-Game & Training Warm-ups: Implementing routines that prime the body for the specific lateral and explosive demands of cricket.

  • Stretching & Mobility: Utilizing targeted stretching protocols to increase range of motion and reduce injury risk.

  • Movement Biomechanics: Refining warm-up and cool-down mechanics to ensure long-term physical sustainability and recovery.

Bowling: Precision & Variation

  • Alignment & Mechanics: Focusing on precise foot placement and the execution of a braced front leg for maximum energy transfer.

  • One-Day Tactics: Strategic practice for the three phases of an innings: the Powerplay (start), the Middle Overs, and the Death (end).

  • Slower Ball Variations: Mastering grip positions and deceptive release points to disrupt a batter’s timing.
